Visits to SSI Units by
Central Excise Officers:
Visits of Central
Excise Officers to SSI Unit are
restricted. The officers visiting the
premises of SSI Units are required to
do so only after obtaining specific
permission from Asst/Deputy
Commissioners having jurisdiction
over the unit. The officers are also
required to make entries in the
Visitor’s Book maintained by the
units. In case of any complaint in
this regard, the same can be reported
to the concerned authorities.
If you notice or
experience any malpractice by the
CENTRAL EXCISE OFFICERS, information
can be given or complaint can be
lodged with -
