Commissionerate and Solapur Division
of Pune-II Commissionerate. Pune-III
Commr’te has started functioning
from 1st Nov. 2002.
During the year 2002-03 considering
the jurisdiction of Pune-III
Commr’te revenue of Rs.1835.97 crores was collected as
Central Excise duties.

III Commissionerate is located in
Pune. Pune-III Commissionerate has a
jurisdiction spread over some of the
areas of Pune city and Pune
district and
entire Solapur District in
Maharashtra state. It has a
concentration of units involved in
sales of petroleum products and
manufacturing of automobiles,
engineering goods, Soft Drink
concentrates etc. Largest revenue
paying units are
