Organisational set up of Pune Zone
Central Excise & Customs, Pune Zone
encompasses 7 districts of the State
of Maharashtra viz. Pune, Satara,
Sangli, Kolhapur, Ratnagiri,
Sindhudurg and Solapur along with the
entire state of Goa. The Chief
Commissioner is the Zonal head for
Central Excise as well as Customs in
the said Zone.
The Zone consists of three
Central Excise Commissionerates, one
Central Excise & Customs
Commissionerate and one Customs
Commissionerate, each headed by
Commissioner, viz.
Pune-I Central Excise Commissionerate :-
West side of the Pune District other
than Pune City.
Pune-II Central Excise Commissionerate :-
Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur, Ratnagiri,
Sindhudurg Districts.
Pune-III Central Excise Commissionerate :-
Pune City, other than Western part of
Pune District and Solapur District.
Goa Central Excise & Customs
Commissionerate :-
Goa State
Pune Customs Commissionerate :-
Pune District and all districts covered under Pune-II Commr’te and
Solapur District of Pune-II.

attached to Pune Zone from August
2007)
