Information regarding Evasion of Duty
            Citizens support and co-operation and help strengthen our resolve to book the hard core smugglers/white collar criminals, unscrupulous manufacturers and service tax evaders engaged in evasion of central excise duty.

            The Government of India has a system of granting rewards to Government Servants and informers who provide specific information or leading to detection of duty evasion including wrong declaration of quantity, description, value etc or leading to seizure of goods, currency, bullion etc. The maximum amount of reward to informer can be as high as 20% of the duty recovered as a result of the information provided. As soon as the information is received, it will be processed and suitable action will be taken after conducting further inquiries, if required.

             NAME AND IDENTITY OF THE INFORMANT WILL BE KEPT ABSOLUTELY CONFIDENTIAL.
